For over 10 years Andrew Powell has been architecting and developing Web applications using ColdFusion, Java, ASP.NET and ASP. At AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2008 East in New York City later this month he will be exploring the fundamentals of the Spry framework including dynamic datasets, widgets and visual effects, as well as broader tips and tricks for developing engaging, AJAX-based websites.
"The Spry framework provides a lightweight, flexible set of tools for building rich user interfaces and integrating XML and JSON data into Web pages," explains Powell.
Currently a Senior Consultant at Universal Mind specializing in ColdFusion, Java, Spry and Flex, his background includes experience running IT Departments for firms in the executive search and aviation consulting fields.
Powell's session is just of the 90+ sessions, presentations, discussion panels, and keynotes that together make up the 3-day conference program of this month's 5th International AJAXWorld.
